Certified ScrumMaster

Year Granted: 2015
Institute: EquinoxIT - Scrum with Style

Through this course, you will gain hands-on practice with agile requirement management, stand-up meetings and the complete iterative cycle of Scrum. You will hear numerous real-world stories from an experienced practitioner, have your questions answered and come away with many ideas on how to make Scrum work in your team.

Scrum is the leading agile method in the world today. Whilst simple, Scrum is not easy to do well and there are many subtleties that can only be fully appreciated through hands-on application. The two day Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course is an immersive learning experience involving a highly interactive mix of seminars, group discussions, team activities, games and role-plays dynamically managed as the course progresses.

Accreditation & Certification

All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.

Attendees will be notified about this test by the Scrum Alliance. The official material for preparing for the test is available from The Scrum Alliance resources page. Test results will be communicated to each participant by the Scrum Alliance.

Upon successful completion of the test, participants will be enrolled as Certified ScrumMasters. This includes a 24 month membership with the Scrum Alliance where additional CSM only material is available.
